Philosophy of JMSSS |
|
Educational philosophy of JMSSS is to bring out
the best resources of the students under its care, for the progress
of the society consistently with dignity, autonomy, accountability
and freedom. It Perceives education as not only subject learning
and acquisition of various skills but also an acute enquiry into
the relation between the child and his society in the development
milieu of his country and the role of student in activising the
instruments of change in traditional society in order to render
justice to all.
School's philosophy is to foster perseverance, logical thought,
quick perception, a retensive memory, sound judgement, presence
of mind, self-relience, self-control, and that flexible power of
mind which can adapt itself to any situation. It foresees the role
of teacher as a guide, friend and a philosopher to students. Love
and affection is the key process to gain the confidence of pupils.
Our philosophy holds emphatically the idea that the true aim of
a good school should be to adapt education to the ability and aptitude
of each individual and to provide for each that method which suits
his best. It strives for the liberation of reason from the shackles
of dogmas and pleads for a critical analysis of nature and mankind
through observation of actual facts.
Every student is allowed freedom to grow and develop along the lines
suitable to his inclination, talent and inmost choice to make Joseph
& Mary Public School a replica of excellence.
